Module : Ud Twitter Follow Button

Hi,

don't know if this is the right place, but i only wanna announce that we have release today a joomla 1.6 module that let you insert easily the new Twitter follow button.

Since we are in pending approval in the JED (hope we will be accepted), i can give you here the direct link

don't worry page is written in french, but the module includes native english language. (just click on the Download link, and you can grab it, no registration is required)

this module will let you
- insert the official twitter follow button in a joomla 1.6
- customize the color of text and link, beyond the presets of twitter.
- show amount of follower
- use the new direct function of the following button (just one click to follow, instead of two before)
- GPL 2.0 and later

this post is also for support. if anything should be going wrong in installing/using this module, feel free to write under this post. I will answer, using my best english language knowledge

just a little update of this post
module is now in version 1.2.0, including asynchronous mode, two new language from twitter (dutch and indonesian) and the ability to fix width and alignement of the button.

but only to show up the follow me button, wich in one click allow to do so.

did you mean we should add the option to show some tweets below this button module ?

Does anyone know how to remove "@username" from the button ?

i just read your post this morning.
so a quick update has born today, v1.2.1
were you can select to show or not your username, and even have a large ou medium button.

Hi there,
I'm having a problem with the color of the buttom. I have set it to blue but for some reason it's always look grey. It's odd because if you go to my site you'll see for a sec is blue and then it goes to grey which is really ugly. You can see it running at www.dogfightplay.com at the left bottom corner.

Any ideas how to make it blue and nice?

very late answer... sorry... did you managed to get i work ? nothing to complicated to do normaly, install, enable, choose position, publish... and your set... no ? Did you use one of the last versions ? 1.3.x ?
