Forum login not accepted on extensions page login

I was wanting to post a 'positive' review on an extension where the developers have been 'very' helpful. However, the extensions login module will not accept my forums login information. If I try to register from the extensions login module and try to use the same login name, it says it is already in use.

So tell me, are there TWO different accounts you have to have for extensions and forums? It seems to me that one single login should be fine for the 'entire' Joomla website. If so, then tell me why it won't show me as logged in on the extensions page and show the additional links to make a review.

Yes, at this time each of our official sites requires a separate login/account.
Perhaps in the future this may not be the case, but for now that is how it is.

Thanks for the quick response. I would put this on a track to merge as having multiple accounts for the same website is simply not effective for users. I'll go ahead and setup a separate account for extensions.
