Help with Flexi Custom Code module

Post by ozstar » Thu Sep 29, 2011 7:30 am

Hi,

I have 1.7 and want to add a javascript calculator to an article.

It seems I could not do this easily with JCE.

I have installed the Module mod_flexi_customcode as it is recommended to insert code into joomla.

Thing is, it does not come with too much tutorials and I am lost.

Do I just paste the code into the Module mod_flexi_customcode page?

If so, how do i tell it that i want the code to go into only one article?

I have also left message on the creator's site.

Hope for help here or an alternative to do what I need to do.

Thanks

oz

You can put the module in an article using the {loadpostion} code or get the "modules anywhere" extension - both load modules in articles or other modules.

And yes, you just insert the code in the box.

My module position assignment, for modules that I want to appear in articles, is "outerspace."
Which gives the module a position that doesn't exist in the template. Then, I just "call" the module with module anywhere .
