Contact form and autoresponder mail

Ciao,
i've configured an autoresponder on the mail of a host ([email protected]). If I send directly a mail, the autoresponder works perfectly!
If I use the contact form (the default one in joomla) where the above mail is configured, I don't receive any automatic reply.
Why? What shall I do in order to receive it?
