I checked yesterday following the original "notification" and assumed that you got the message that your account is not disabled and Jomsocial are looking into what the error is.

Weird, I receive all notifications to my email and never received one for this issue. Can the JomSocial team update me on this issue - or can you get an update for me?

Also, in the future, as is stated in the Forum rules instead of just changing my signature to link to forum rules, please "ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason." and kindly give me the opportunity to fix it myself.

Hi,

Thank you for your note, I did change your signature.

I understand that you would have preferred a personal note instead of a simple change, however a lot of people would not comply with a small note. They might need to ignore it or might not respond for hours/days/weeks/years to a PM or email. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

So I would like to ask you to not violate any forum rules in the future, so that it will not be necessary for anybody to change your signature.

Hi Olaf, I've been a member of the forum for 2 years and not received any notice to change my signature. My point is, if you would have erased the violating part and sent a warning I would have happily obliged, however, there was no need for you add anything to my personal. Surely my history on the forums should have been taken into consideration since I have never had any warnings. Also, if you are asking me to follow the rules then you should lead by example and "ask" as the same rules you linked to in my personal signature state. Thanks for your response.

When they tell us we will tell you - not that helpful but i dont know where the bug is thats causing your profile display to be corrupted.
If you want to create a temporary profile in the meantime to keep you going, please do.
Also just to confirm that you were not banned, suspended or deleted (from people.joomla.org), this is a JS bug.

Sure, it was certainly a small oversight to not inform you about. However, I am not sure, what the whole issue is all about, as your signature was maybe 1 or 2 hours in the state before you changed it to a compliant version.

Please PM me, if you would like to discuss this further, as it has nothing to do with this topic, and I don't want to take it further offtopic. Alternatively you can complain about the signature change, in a new topic in this forum: viewforum.php?f=7
