Hi all

Sydney JoomlaDay Conference and Workshops - 5th and 6th Nov 2011
Venue: University of Technology, Haymarket, Sydney, Australia (UTS)

We're very pleased to announce our final lineup for the conference - with three Joomla co-founders (Andrew Eddie, Brian Teeman and Shayne Bartlett) and the president of OSM (Ryan Ozimek) in the mix, as well as industry leaders in User Experience and Accessibility, Microsoft's Nick Hodge talking about WebMatrix and a host of other experts from the Joomla community. It's the only Joomla conference in Australia this year - don't miss it!

As usual we have a full day conference on Saturday - two streams, business and technical. We are runnning a series of half-day workshops on Sunday - two technical ones from Andrew Eddie, plus a beginners and a security session.

Everything at bargain community prices, and including giveaways, lunch and t-shirt on Saturday. Tickets are on sale now for both the conference and the workshops at http://sydney.joomladay.org.au and of course space is limited so we'd encourage you to book now. There will NOT be ticket sales on the day.

Brian,
If you were really going to Down Under instead of Skype than when flying over Indonesia (on the way back of course ... ) you should have jumped out above Java, about 65 km south of Jakarta and I would have bought you a beer or 2 ;-) You would set your 'free-fall' coordinates to Botanical Gardens of Bogor (300 meters next to my residence) and I would have cought your chute for sure! The only thing that falls out of the air here besides rain, pollution, lava and airplanes can only be you so no problem catching the right "drop-out"!

Sadly I will only be joining virtually via the magic of the internet and the last time I jumped ut of a plane (in Namibia) it was less than successful.

Well the only problem here compared to Namibia would be not to land in an active volcanic crater since that would get you some severe hot "bola, bola" as we say here ....
