Hello,

We’re developing a custom component to run our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. This solution will service thousands of active registered users and tens of thousands of occasional unregistered users.

We’re considering moving the table’s specific to our application, and perhaps a couple of selected Joomla tables, to InnoDB rather than the default myISAM. As developers we like what InnoDB offers (record-locking, foreign-key constraints, etc.), but for us it’s all conjecture right now as we’re fairly new to this platform and haven’t run it in a production environment. We’d like to hear from anyone with practical experience in this area.
