i am new in joomla and i want to know how could i scan my site and c panel from virus and spam?

You could try a Sucuri SiteCheck to test if your site has malware. If you are spammed you probably already noticed it.

first follow the above suggestions, then log into your cpanel,
under advanced section you will see virus scanner, (generally CalmAV) just scan either your root dir. or public dir. with it...

verify your website with Google webmaster's tools.. Google will inform you if it finds any malwares in your public root.

This is called ClamAV and depends entirely on a hosting company whether the plugin is installed for the control panel or not. In non of the control panels it is installed per definition and it should be compiled for cPanel. If a host does not use cPanel Clamav is not per definition present

he himself said that he's on cPanel.... and its my experience so far that 99% cpanel hostings have ClamAV.. thats why i said, with the term "Generaly" not "always". :eek:
