Hi all,

Don't get me wrong because I love the fact that Joomla is kept alive with development of new versions.
BUT, why is it that every time extensions become more widely available for a version, there is a new version and the old one becomes E.O.L. ? :'(

So many code changes made and so many template changes done, finally found all the components and plugins needed..... now hoping that an upgrade to 2.5 doesn't flush it down the toilet. Otherwise I am stuck on an old version where updates will stop someday or it will take ages to rebuild and then probably some new update will put me in the same challenge again. :laugh:

Keeping my fingers crossed that my dev environment survives the upgrade. :eek:

And why are we not all still using rotary party-line telephones? :)

We all like progress - though we don't all like change.

But with the telephones you know it will work like before, we only operate it differently ;) :D

It works - except when it doesn't. I was near the mountain yesterday and had no cell phone coverage. (Of course years ago, I would not even have tried to take a phone to the mountain.)
