Hi,

I searched for a market place where users can sell and buy products like ebay or amazon. I don't want an ads extension (like ads manager) because I want to be the middle man like ebay or amazon.

Does anyone knows a component like that?

I've seen Auction factory, but I want to tknow if there is something else.

For e-bay, you can check JED for similar extensions. Just search ebay

For amazon, I think you can just use some kind of ecommerce system, like RedShop or VirtueMart for something similar and free. But if you can afford the money, you can just search ecommerce

Thanks for the answer. But Virtuemart and Redshop are ecommerce extensions where I can sell my products but where visitors cannot sell their own products.
I need a marketplace extension.

Yes, I did.

In the demo, I don't see any BID button, and it seems to have many bugs:

I've check the link you gave. It does have bid option. But the visitors need to login first, which I think it does necessary.

I know, the answer i am posting here is out of this joomla community. But i want you to have a look here. If you want to build any ecommerce site like ebay-amazon, then i will suggest you to have a look for magento. An opensource solution for ecommerce sites. After going thorugh some tutorial you can make an easy to work ecommerce website. Here is the link for the tutorial, if you wanna have a look. http://www.siteground.com/tutorials/magento/

PS: I am not publishing or advertising for magento here. My purpose is to help him out and make him look for some better options if available. :)

The latest version of VirtueMart, 2.0.12 supports administrated multi-vendor. Maybe worth a look, but advised to use with Joomla 2.5
