Hi everyone

Its been a while since I've done any Joomla mod'ing, and seems I have turned into an idiot... (a heap of pain pills to treat a back injury aint helping)

I'd like to create the custom HTML modules as seen in http://www.linelab.org/demo-templates-joomla/?tp=1 (I'd also like to align them correctly as you can see there is a slight vertical misalignment) to use them as CTA's for a site. (different content in each, redirecting to different pages and offers)
I'd ideally like to have 3 (three) separate modules in this position sitting next to each other - is that possible?

The site I am working on is http://mygreekbookshop.com.au/

I have searched online for answers to this, but keep finding how to create custom html modules, but not how to code them.... Hmmm... Am I missing something???

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kaz

Custom HTML Module is a module type. This module type provides a blank space with editor so that you can type in anything you want and if needed with the help of extensions, you could even use programming code within them.

To create an instance of the Custom HTML Module, go to the Module Manager, click on the icon titled New and in the window that pops-up, choose the type Custom HTML Module. After filling the spaces, you can publish the module to the appropriate module position in your template.

This depends on the template design. You may have to customize the design a bit.

Also check 'Text filters' in Global config'

Thank you very much for your replies.

It may be that I did not explain myself well enough. I understand how to create a module, but am unsure of the code to use to create a module that looks like the one at the bottom of http://www.linelab.org/demo-templates-joomla/ (user3[xhtml outline])

As you can see on http://mygreekbookshop.com.au/ , I have been able to create a single custom HTML module but the alignment is bizarre to say the least, and I am unsure how to correct my code to get the three boxes to align horizontally.

If someone could point me in the direction of code to correct my alignment that would be fantastic...
I think I will give up on 3 separate modules as each time I try to create 3 separate ones they sit on top of each other instead of beside each other.

Much thanks in advance x

The second site you are referencing is not viewable. It is showing the Offline screen.

Reviewed the sites referenced.

By any chance, have you copied the text starting with "Adodb ADODB 11101" from a Word Document? If so, please remove it and type a plain text and see what happens.

Also, did you change anything in the template?
