Hey All,

Recently I've encountered to the featured extension. After reading the magazine and some other joomla articles, I've noticed that some of the extensions in the list are belong to some of the JED editors, who manage the JED. Because we are open community, the list it must contain appropriate disclaimer. This will make transparency for our users.

Some? As in one?! One that was on the list even before that dev entered JED?
Don't see the point to have that tag on extensions.

JED has an internal policy to avoid conflicts of interest.
One editor can have direct links with an extension (his or from a developer with whom he have a business) but he can't deal with extensions on that category.

On the featured list: its an old list that should have been revamped a long time ago, there where announcements for that but never done!

Hi Horus!

Maybe he means "some" as in "two" but you are absolutely right, a disclaimer like "Yes, 2 out of 8 editors' pics are associated with editors but this is absolutely insignificant, we have an internal policy to avoid conflicts of interest." would really make no sense.
