/administrator/language/EN-GB/en-gb.com-contact.ini is missing an entry:
COM_CONTACT_EMAIL_LABEL="Email"

Possibly all other language files are missing same entry.

This string is not used in back-end, only in front-end, in the contact form.
It is present in language/en-GB/en-GB.contact.ini

Interesting, as the entry was missing in my installation. I am increasingly getting a feeling that some files have not updated correctly when installing the 2.5 upgrade.
How can I check easily if some files are missing/wrong version?

First of all: what made you think that string was missing?
Can you reproduce the issue? Explain how. Post screenshot after lang debug is ON (see below).
Is your site updated to 2.5.2? If not, please do.

1. Extensions Manager=>Database tab : Make sure all is ok and Fix if anything is wrong
2. Global Configuration => Set language debug on, reload admin and then site.
In each case look at bottom of page for the debug information concerning loading language files and parsing issues.

The contact form displayed the "email" field with the DB label as name.
Checked the various language files in both GB-EN and DK-DA and in both cases the string with this DB name was missing. I entered the string myself and the form now works fine.
The DB fix is all OK.
My update from 1.7.5 to 2.5.1 failed however and I had to make a manual upload of all files and run the DB fix afterwards.
Maybe, something went wrong in this process.
Will try the the language debug feature and revert
