SOLVED Problem with translation after joomla 1.5.26 update

Hello I just updated to joomla 1.5.26 and for some reason my existing translation is not working properly as you can see in the attached image. I have reinstalled the language pack I have installed another language to see and I installed this language on another joomla 1.5.26 website I have and I have the same results. Does anybody else have the same problem? What should I do?

ok I restored the 1.5.23 version and tried updating with the joomla update manager instead of the j!update and its fine now.
