Administrator Login

Hi there. Could some one explain how to create a user with limited access?
I need the user to be able to log in to administrator page, but only see few components rather than everything else. I want to be able to set what the user can or cannot see.

I couldn't find anything on that. I might miss something, so if somebody could guide me through this, I'd really appreciate.

1) Create a new user group - lets call it group1
2) Ensure the "Special" access level is assigned to group1. You can do this by going through to Users->Access Levels then clicking on Special and finally ticking group1. Save & Close.
3) Go to Site->Global Configuration then click Permissions. Expand group1 and set "Admin Login" to allowed. Save & Close.
4) Click into the component you want to allow access, then click on 'Options' in the toolbar. Click on the permissions tab then expand group1. Set all the permissions you want the user to have. Save & Close.
5) Assign your user to group1.
