@Manpreet_25 you don't say version of Joomla!, for 1.5.x you already have Hindi language pack, see here
For 2.5 I don't see, but you can contact Coordinator: Sanjeev Naroliya
If you like only to create article in Hindi then just do it, Joomla! is ready for that.
Also, maybe, you can find useful component for override languages

Your post (http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 4#p2785417) posted winth 12 hours of posting the topic, with the following text has been deleted as it considered bumping.
Also, be aware that the people who answer the posts, who manage the forums, and who moderate the forums are all volunteers just like you and me. So, sometimes there could be a delay in responding to questions.
In addition, this is not the first time someone is asking this question. One could always use the search facility available in the forum.

Re: Hindi Language help needed?
As strumjan says, there is a Hindi language pack for Joomla! 1.5. However, this cannot be used with 2.5.
Unfortunately, we do not have any volunteer (individual/team) to make a Hindi language pack for Joomla! 2.5.
To create a web-site in Hindi:
As long as the database's collation sequence is UTF-8, everything should be OK. Also, check what is the collation sequence in all the tables of the database that is being used with Joomla!
To show the contents in Hindi, you have to create a content in Hindi.
What could help you typing in Hindi is Transliteration of Google (http://www.google.com/transliterate/hindi). A better way would be to install and use the IME (http://www.google.com/ime/transliteration/) from Google. Once installed, this software could be used not only with Joomla! but in any place where you could type (e.g., mail, document, spreadsheet).
Hope this helps.

Re: Hindi Language help needed?
So just do that, Joomla 2.5 is ready for that, as long as you have, like @imanickam say:
Many automated one-click hosting Joomla installation set collation on latin-swedish and you have on frontend ? or other strange characters instead of your native language.
So, change the collation of database and their tables, or make new database with correct collation (utf8-general-ci) and reinstall Joomla this time connecting with this good database.
Go to your PHPMyAdmin and check collation for your Joomla database and their tables. As long as the database's collation sequence is UTF-8, everything should be OK. Also, check what is the collation sequence in all the tables of the database that is being used with Joomla!

Hi Manpreet,
You can either use Google transliteration bookmarklet - http://www.google.com/transliterate or this extension - http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... tent/10943
Both links will help you to type in Hindi.

Re: Hindi Language help needed?
Good... You could proceed to build the web-site in Hindi.
Be known that to build a web-site in Hindi, the Hindi language packs are not needed. If the language packs are available then the informational messages, error messages, warning messages, and field names of the core Joomla! extensions would be shown in native language depending on the pack used. Otherwise, they would be in English.
As strumjan says, you can always create overriding strings for them as per your need.
