How to get rid of the Joomla Messages upon members log in? Sorry if I'm not in the wrong section, I'm still using 1.6.

Upon logging in in the front end, The joomla messages show up. I cant search it in any articles so that i can delete this. Its nowhere to be found.

Just need to get rid of these messages. Thanks for you understanding and for your help.

Mike

What you are referring to are article - not messages. You have to go to Article Manager to unpublish or delete these articles.

These articles are part of the Sample Data. During the installation, there is an option to install the Sample Data. I believe that you have chosen to install the Sample data.

A better option would be to have another installation of Joomla! without the Sample Data and build your site. You can use the existing site a reference to find out how things are put together.

They are definitely articles. Use the Search option in the Article Manager to locate these articles.
