Hia guys,

first, thanks for reading this post.

Secondly, I hope you guys can help me out.

I'm working on a v1.5.23

Some of my visitors reported they get a notification from norton antivirus when browsing to the site. the url: http://www.sociale dialoog.be (remove the space please)

I attached screenshots of what my visitors are seeing.

I did a check (securi check) (URL: http://sitecheck.sucuri.net)
It reported:

My questions:
I don't prefer upgrading to the newer version as my components aren't supported by the newer versions. Hence:
To resolve this viral issue; should I:
1) Restore a backup?
1a) I'm using akeeba so I can completly remove the site and kickstart it (last resort)
1b) Just restore a backup without removing the phpside (keeping sql(i)) to.

Last resort: Upgrading if absolutly needed, but what about the SQL side? What a bout all my articles (a 300 articles) (and registered users 1000's ).

Last Question: The website seems to be very slow. I think it's because of the virus (don't really now).

Please help me out

i fiond it hard to understand why people take a perfectly good image and then max it out by puting it in a document..
anyway
1. see the topic htacess redirect.
2. you can upgrade to the latest version for your branch which is 1.5.26

see in the topic i mentioned or in the sticky, "before you post read this" for the required steps to take. you dont know if your back up is clean

Mandville,

thx for that deeplink. IF i understand correctly, you are saying, revising the accessfile should be sufficient?

(and upgrading to the latest version of v1.5.X)

right?
