An error occurred unable to open configuration.php file to write.

This error shows when I try to change from Tiny MCE to JCE or Jckeditor.

I have had to change the CHMOD when I was uploading the documents. It didn't help to have the CHMOD at 777 when I was changing the editors.

I am new to Joomla.

I am using Joomla version 1.5.23

This is the error I got. I've tried changing the .htaccess file, CHMOD. Didn't help

An Error has occurred! Unable to open configuration.php file to write!
