I've Joomla 1.5.23 with jUpgrade version 2.5.1. While running the jUpgrade setup, it shows "Downloading Joomla 2.5" as 0 bytes /0 bytes from a long time and not downloading anything.

In the jUpgrade Global Configuration parameter settings, Target Directory is jupgrade without / slash. I;ve created jupgrade directory in the root with Write permissions but still facing same problem.

Refer to attached print screen.

How can i fix jUpgrade to download and upgrade my existing Joomla Version with this utility. Thanks!!

I;ve just installed Admin Tools v2.2.5 and upgraded Joomla to 1.5.26. I can;t see any option in Admin Tools now to upgrade it to the latest version.

Can;t we use Admin Tools to upgrade to a higher version from 1.5.26?
After upgrading to joomla 1.5.26, I am still not able to upgrade it to a higher version by using jUpgrade.

Any advise? Thanks!!

Completely unable to use jUpgrade (no response on their forums). I know this is a very complex exercise and that there are more variables than I can possibly imagine; but the jUpgrade path is a no hoper for me. Having spent days (literally) poring over forums looking for an answer, I have to move on.
Have purchased SPUpgrade; http://cyend.com/extensions/ €24.95.
Support replied within 2 hours (on a weekend too) - job done!
Now just have to migrate the templates......

Hello Sachin,

I am trying to do the same, and have similar problem.
Was jUpgrade able to migrate you from 1.5.23 to 2.5 directly??
Also i have an important doubt. After migration, will the site links change or will they be the same.
This is important for me, because i do not want to lose my backlinks.
Please share your experience.

Thanks in advance.
