Hi there!
After I install the brazilian language pack and I set it as default I got this message at front page:
Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/itiscrea/public_html/libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php on line 102

How can I fix this?

Thanks

Fábui

Hi!

My Joomla version is 1.7.5 and I installed the languages from this address:
http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/portuguesebr/frs/

I tried 1.7.3 and 2.51 version but both gave me the same error.

Thanks for your help,

Fábio

Update to 2.5.4 (1.7 is obsolete and vulnerable) and use the 2.5.1 lang pack please, and test again.
Is it a multilang site?

Test with your template or update the template.
1.7 is NOT to be Used as I said.

Hi!,

I updated the template and the joomla to the last version, but I'm still have the same problem with language. It's showing error: Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/itiscrea/public_html/libraries/joomla/plugin/plugin.php on line 103

Also when I click in the Content tab of Language Manager, I got this error, that wasn't happen before:

Unknown column 'a.access' in 'on clause' SQL=SELECT a.*,ag.title AS access_level,l.home AS home FROM `jos_languages` AS a LEFT JOIN jos_viewlevels AS ag ON ag.id = a.access LEFT JOIN `jos_menu` AS l ON l.language = a.lang_code AND l.home=1 AND l.language <> '*' WHERE (a.published IN (0, 1)) ORDER BY a.title asc Unknown column 'a.access' in 'on clause' SQL=SELECT a.*,ag.title AS access_level,l.home AS home FROM `jos_languages` AS a LEFT JOIN jos_viewlevels AS ag ON ag.id = a.access LEFT JOIN `jos_menu` AS l ON l.language = a.lang_code AND l.home=1 AND l.language <> '*' WHERE (a.published IN (0, 1)) ORDER BY a.title asc Unknown column 'a.access' in 'on clause' SQL=SELECT a.*,ag.title AS access_level,l.home AS home FROM `jos_languages` AS a LEFT JOIN jos_viewlevels AS ag ON ag.id = a.access LEFT JOIN `jos_menu` AS l ON l.language = a.lang_code AND l.home=1 AND l.language <> '*' WHERE (a.published IN (0, 1)) ORDER BY a.title asc

The error with the access column means that your instance of Joomla is not correctly updated.

Go to Extensions Manager= Database tab and click on the Fix Toolbar button.

Fot the other error, I am afraid I can't help without access to your site.

make sure you use the 2.5 Brazilian lang pack btw.
