This must be simple, I can't believe I can not find how to add a "next / previous" link at the bottom of articles.

Do I need to install a special plug-in/module for this?

No, it's a core feature. Go to Content -> Article Manager -> then click on the Options. In the lightbox Article Manager Options scoll down to Show Navigation and set it to Show. Save & Close, the next and previous should be shown in your article.

Lightbox I believe is the software techie speak for the "Pop up window" in which the Options are displayed.

Under the first tab of this, headed Articles, and in the second group is an option to show/hide the Navigation.

Many thanks Humvee, found it OK And there's me thinking I was beginning to think like a techie. Will post in the "Lounge" and ask what the difference is between a "techie" a "Geek" an a "Nerd"

Hmmm, yes I thought it should be automatic but it's not working for me.

I have added 5 articles all in the same category and it's not showing at the bottom of the page. I am using The J_51 Oxygen free template.

Am I missing something, in regards to linking the article pages?

Thanks for responses

Go to the Article Manager Options "lightbox" again and click on the Blog/Featured Layouts tab. If you have the default value, ie 1 Leading Articles and 4 Intro Articles, I don't think the navigation will shown. Just lower the number of Intro Articles and see what happens?

Thanks, I finally got it to work.
I am using a new plug-in - "Content - Page Navigation With Titles" and it loaded right away and works perfectly.
