What exactly happens when try to insert a link?

Have you tried to go to the HTML source code and create a link from there?

Hi Toivo
First of all, Thank you very much for your reply.

When I highlight the word where I want the link to go. I am able to select the "insert/edit link" button. when I click that button all I get is an empty box which is like another Mozilla page. In the url is says:
http://www.abcplumbingltd.co.uk/plugins ... d/link.htm

That's it, there are no other options.

Regards to the HTML, I am not very confident in using HTML, but I have copied codes which have links in them and they work fine.

Thanks again for trying to help.

Hi people

I've figured it out! if anyone is having a similar issue as I have experienced. Just download the JCE Editor, works like a charm.

Thanks for trying to help Toivo.

Hi Abcplumb,

Where did you download the JCE Editor from? We're using Joomla 1.0.15 and I've been having very similar problems when I try to insert a link.

Hi Garden
you can download JCE Editor here:
https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/dow ... /joomla15x

I'm not sure if it will work with joomla 1.0.15.
I think you should try updating to the latest version. I did and that resolved my problem.
All the best
