Image not loaded in article using J! 3.0.1 | no sef url

@ http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f ... 5#p2967839 I and another user discuss the issue that when we add an image to an article in Joomla! 3.0.1, add the article to a category and save/publish it, the image is not shown in the front end. Any ideas why that is the case and whether this is a bug or not?
The other issue is that the url is not a pretty url, but just the ID + alias. Is there any solution for either issue? I thought that Joomla! 3.x had solved this issue and no SEF extension would be needed any longer..

Update:

Upgrading to 3.0.2 did not solve the issues
