Unable to password protect a page

Post by HoustonBrown » Mon Feb 18, 2013 3:59 am

I have a website that has a menu item that is password-protected. (Registered)

When you login you can go to the one article under this menu. This article has a module embeded in it using the {loadposition}.

I am using mod_roknewspager to display an accordion style list for various articles. All of these articles should be password protected. The module itself has the access level set to REGISTERED. I have even gone in and created a hidden menu and assigned all articles that normally show up in the rock news pager to this menu item. Each menu item also has an access level of REGISTERED.

The problem is if you Google "lavender brown indigo" and click on the second search engine result, it will take you to one of the REGISTERED pages and allows you to download the PDF which is not suppose to be accessible to NON-REGISTERED users.

How do I prevent this from happening.

Many thanks,

Try setting the articles themselves to "Registered". The link found within the search result is a direct link to the article not a link to a menu item.

That did the trick. Thank you.
