Migrated from 1.5 to 2.5 to 3.03

Post by Margo » Sat Feb 16, 2013 9:15 am

Hi!

The site was migrated from 1.5.26 to 2.5 using jupgrade. Then I used the inbuilt joomla upgrade to 3.03

I am getting a minor issue.

In the administration are, Joomla 3 should have separate tabs for basic & Advanced option, but mine is still under one tab called options.

As I said minor issue.

Which object are you talking about. Each object has its own properties, presented on different tabs. Where do you expect basic/advanced and not seeing it?

its in every object. Any object that has basic and advanced options, in my site those are together on the same tab called options.

As I said its minor as I've checked on a test install locally (clean joomla 3.0) and the same options are there but on 2 tabs.

Wrong answer. Without specifics can't help you.

Editting a module in the module manager look like this:
moduleedit.jpg
As you can see basic and advanced options
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Now I really am confused. I setup a clean joomla install on XAMPP using the rockettheme rocketlauncher.

In that install all the modules have basic and advanced options split in separate tab. So presumably an option? The buttons are also on the right.

Good to know that my install is completely fine though thank you.

That is not a clean Joomla install!

The buttons on the right are because I installed ISIS_contrast from Angelika Reisiger.
