I actually read offline as online there! However, my answer might still be useful. If I am working on files with a group of people I now like to use the new Google Drive (used to be Google documents) you can upload any kind of file and then manage the sharing as you wish, you can then set up alerts to see who has changed the file etc.

Re the notepad/notepad2 issue there are differences the ' symbol always causes problems.
I have just moved http://www.motorhomefreedom.com a motorhome rental site over to Joomla 3.02 from Wordpress.

I am from Tanzania also and speak Swahili fluent and fairly good english! how can i offer my help with translation? i have used joomla on many websites for clients in dodoma but many wish to find a better translation for local peoples!
