Packaging components xml error

Post by ybouan » Mon Apr 24, 2006 6:09 am

The xml sample in the packaging components section has some errors:
The "Author" and "AuthorUrl" tags should be "author" and "authorUrl" as xml is casesensitive.

Hi ybouan,

Can you point me to the specific page that is at fault?  I could not see any problems with the pages I looked at.

Note that as long as the begin and end tags are identical (including case), there should be no problem.

Regards,
Chris.

I had to change to lower case for the author url to show.

Ahh, of course.  Silly me!  You're right.

This is a known problem caused by the glossary bot.  The actual content of the page has the correct case.  We are in the process of moving the developer documentation to the dev.joomla.org site which doesn't have the glossary bot installed so the problem should go away.  However, in the meantime I have disabled the glossary bot for this page and the other, similar, pages in the Packaging chapter.

Thanks for reporting this problem.  If you notice any other problems then please do not hesitate to let us know.

Regards,
Chris.
