Lithuanian language file (Site only)
Hi everyone,
I have "upgraded" the old Lithuanian translation originally made by the Lithuanian Translation team to support Joomla version 3.0.
Hope that others like me need this for a multi-lingual site. Anyhow, here it is.
P.S. It is only the site translation. Administrators just have to use an official supported Joomla language
Have fun
Lars

Great!
schorling: Thanks for the efforts.
By any chance, are you working with Stasys (http://forum.joomla.org/memberlist.php? ... ofile&u=44) who was coordinating the Lithuanian language translation for Joomla! 1.5?
Tested the installation and noticed that description in the file pkg_lt-LT.xml has to be changed.

Re: Lithuanian language file (Site only)
Hi Imanickam,
No, unfortunately not. I don't even speak the language
I was in a situation where my Lithuanian girlfriend needed a website and to my surprise, Joomla 3 is supported by any language in Europe... except Lithuanian
So I had to do something.
Therefore I found the last official supported translation package from 1.5 and an unofficial 2.5 file from The Lithuanian language team and then I just started merging them into an English 3.0 package.
So I can't take credit for the translation itself. I just needed it and thought that others would be in same situation and posted it here.
I hope that, in time, the official group will deliver us a real full package for Joomla 3, but time will tell.
Thank for the tip. I will look into that.
Have a nice day

Thanks for volunteering to help.
Suggest getting in touch with Joan Libre who is the translation coordinator for the language Catalan. You can get the contact information of the coordinator at http://community.joomla.org/translation ... html#ca-es.
