Error loading component: com_tags, Component not found

Post by scott-oliver » Tue Mar 26, 2013 6:09 pm

Hi Everyone,

I started receiving this warning after upgrading from 3.03 to 3.1 beta2

Warning
"Error loading component: com_tags, Component not found"

I figured this out. All you have to do is go to extensions, click discovery and find com_tags and click install and it will install this or any other component, module or plugin that was not installed through the normal installation process.

All is working again...

Scott

Hi after doing an upgrade via FTP I cannot access my articles/article manager. Instead this error keeps popping up

Code: Select all

SQL=SELECT a.id, a.title, a.level FROM jom_tags AS a WHERE a.parent_id > 0 ORDER BY a.lft
Solved it by removing the component tags and then doing a fix database. Should I reinstall the tags component? :D

This did work for me but it was not called com_tags but simply tags. I selected that and installed which fixed it for me.
