Don't want search engines index a temporary site...

Hello,

I made a copy of a website to subfolder in another domain.

For example: This is the real website: http://www.alexnatural.com/

I made a copy of this webiste to: http://melprokwebsolutions.com/WebSite_ ... lexnatural

I don't want search engines index the copy.

I must change the Robots values in the global configuration to no index , no follow? Or is not necessary?

Change the global config to noidex and nofollow.
Also, and this might be overkill but its what I do, put a password on the entire directory. You can do that in your web hosting cPanel. That way its private.
