Hi all,
i have spent a month or so SEO'ing my website. It is slowly getting there, i am creating backlinks on forums, and directories etc. I have created an XML sitemap, which has been submitted to google webmaster. However, i want to know how to get my sitelinks to appear under my Website link in Google.
i know it can be done because i have done it before with another website, but not in Joomla.
Does anybody know the process of google, and how it works sitelinks?
Thanks
Al

Re: Google Sitelinks
Hi Aaron,
Sitelinks are something that Google decides, not something that you can decide.
They will look at all the usual factors, such as how long your domain name has been registered, how many times the page content changes, how popular your site is, how many other sites link to it etc...
I'm sure you've already seen it, but take a look at http://support.google.com/webmasters/bi ... swer=47334 for more information.
Basically, all you can do is to keep promoting your site well and wait for Google to decide.
Regards,
@bewebdev ^EK

Re: Google Sitelinks
No problems.
It's frustrating, but it's just "the way it is"
Have you looked at SEO for the other search engines too? Although everyone automatically thinks of Google, a fair proportion of traffic can come from Bing, just google (!) for 'bing webmaster tools' and see what advice you can glean from them.

Re: Google Sitelinks
I agree with you. Web links were heavily influenced by various factors. One is the age of the blog and also the number of incoming links to a url of your posts and good navigation on your blog. Do not make the anchor text links that are not related to the post topic being discussed. For example, you make the anchor text of links, click here and so on.bewebdev wrote:Hi Aaron,

Re: Google Sitelinks
I am also agree with you. Google decides sitelinks but we can Demote our sitelink URLs. Take a look at google webmaster tool help center. https://support.google.com/webmasters/a ... 7334?hl=enbewebdev wrote:Hi Aaron,
