im looking for the VWar bridge that was created by joomla-clantools.com

it seems the site is no longer up but i had the bridge before my server got wiped on me. and i cant find it anywhere.


if anyone can let me know of a site that still has the file. ive been looking and its missing from their joomlaforge project and every site i can find just has a link to joomla-clantools

If anyone has the joomla-clantools  vwar bridge. i can give accesss to my file server for transfering.

or if anyone knows another good one.

Glad to help. I uploaded the module that goes with it. I also have the Community Builder/VWar module around here somewhere. If I can find it, I'll upload it and let you know.

Joomla-clantools has ben down for a month or more now.

If anyone has any of the modules and components could you make them available?

I downloaded them to make sure they were not newer than what I had. They are in fact the same versions I have. Oh well, guess we are stuck with these unless someone takes over development.

Yes they were the last update in the days before the site went down.

My understanding was the site was a victim of a DOS attack and they shut down site for BW issues.

any idea when It may be back up, if at all?

I got news from Wilco that he had stopped development on the 1.0 version of the bridge and is focusing on the 1.5 framework.
He informed me the website which use to host the files was comprised and he took if offline. No real ETA when it will be back as he is busy working on other projects.

I'm having a problem with the module, When you click on the match it redirects you to the main VWar page, not the match result which also sync joomla users to the vwar.

I know, the old files were deleted and the description/project name changed to War manager

If anyone can code I found an e107 AAO XML module that would be great ported to Joomla...This is one of the best clan site XML feeds ever.

If you have patched or modified your install "at all" then this is not for you, it's done on a clean install.

Needs only the addition / replacement of tables in SQL  ( I can't stand someone who uses the data base to store template data...it's so hard to modify, and these guys use this for a CMS?)

Yes this module was coded around Vwar 1.2 -1.3

Back then you could still link with it, now the menu is all DHTML and he is fully i-framing it so the link is defective / non functional.

I remember I had a full menu for Vwar in my left modules, not anymore...

I know this is a massive BUMP but I am looking for a Vwar Bridge for Joomla 1.5. Doesnt anyone know if there is one out there, or another 1.5 Clan Management System.
