How can I:

- Make $ambo 4.5.2.3+Mambelfish 1.5 portal to use 2 locales depending on the choice of the user - i.e. show english and german format of time and date on the site. I was searching for a solution but none of the mentioned (moving locale settings in language files) have helped me :(

- Hide both titles and text in both frontpage and section/category listings for untranslated content articles?

Thanks!!!

I've solved one of my problems - at least partially. I've changed the date format of all other languages except the default to numeric dates.

Look in the Mamblefish settings.

There is an option of what to do about untranslated content. The default is to show the original.

It's not that easy. The original titles still show up in the portal even if you chose to hide the content.

Yuck. That is a Mamblefish bug. I am not currently using Mamblefish on any sites so I can't quickly find the problem.

I would guess that the section of code that says to hide content, is incomplete, but I would have to install it to get it track the bug down. It may be a matter of expanding an if statement, or rewriting an entire block of joomla.

I hope one of the maintainers sees your post. If I had it installed I would track down the bug.

I have last used 1.5

The issue that was being discussed is a feature that I have never used.

The problem is that if you ask for untranslated content to not be shown, the titles are showing up. even though as requested, no content shows up.

I have not verified this as my only multi-lingual site I am working on has recently been moved to Plone, so I don't have Mamblefish in use at the moment. (I will in the near future though, so I am interested.)
