Hi all,

I was wondering if it would be possible to pull individual modules into Flash, or contain them in a javascript popup. Specifically, I'd like to do this with the login/registration module. I plan to use this technique to build a subscriber list from outside the J! CMS body.

Here's the deal... I've built a Flash site that I'd like to integrate w/ J! at some point. The first phase, however, is simply to build a subscriber list until the CMS is ready to push live (I've still got to template it, etc). Eventually, the CMS will also act as its own site.

Any insights, hints, gotchas, or suggestions are welcome!

I found this post:

http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,1483.0.html

However, this doesn't work for showing only the registration form... What ends up happening is the CB login appears by itself, as expected, but I can't get the task=register stuff to open directly. I'll need to have just the registration part show, then check if the user already exists. I don't need the login stuff to show up at that point.

Placing the module into a different php file doesn't work, as VALID_MOS fails.

???
