Installed on a testserver with 1.011 > 1.012 patch and went without any hickups.

Tested on testserver:
..JACLPlus
..JCE 1.1.0 Beta complete including jceembedded and jceutils
..CB with a mountain of plugins
..Joomlacloner
..eWeather

Cheers People. Fabulous so far! Nice Christmas Toy!  :pop

Am I wrong or has the 'Restricted Access' from 1.0.11 not been fixed?

It works fine for us.  You are referring to the Mambots manager, correct?

Yes. Sorry I should point out that I still get this error after applying the 1.0.12 patch.

Works fine for us as well. Double checked and uninstalled/deleted entire com_mambot, cleared all out and reinstalled...works like a charm without any issues (patched version: Joomla_1.0.11_to_1.0.12-Stable-Patch_Package.tar)
cheers
Leo

edit: @ Ryan: the "old error" calling JCE-config from menu does not occur as well. JCE 1.1.0 Beta full works flaweless on our testserver :)

Sorry, I should get some kind of idiot award here.

I seemed to have downloaded and applied the 1.0.10 to 1.0.11 patch!

Probably cos I've only had one cup of coffee this morning...

Was your 1.0.11 site patched with the file that was published on the forums after the 1.0.11 Stable release?  Did the mambot manager work before you ran the 1.0.12 patch or was it the original 1.0.11 installation with broken mambot manager?

Just a simple question  I have asked a couple of times: Please include a writable EMPTY configuration.php in the installer! This resolves for newbies many problems and is imho no security risk at all! already publisged in FAQ's but still...should be no big issue i assume?

Hi,

Good work all, and thanks to those who helped us to test the new release!

If you find any problems, please post them in the Upgrading or 1.0 Q&T forum, thanks!

Good job as always team, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! :)

Edit: When trying to view BSQ Site Stats "Statistics" page in the back end, the page hangs while loading and then produces the following error:

Code:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/avema2/public_html/gamehosting/administrator/components/com_bsq_sitestats/classes/bsqsitestatsrender.php on line 618

The new version seems to be running smoothly otherwise.

Important note; the Joomla_1.0.12-Stable-Full_Package.zip contains some ".svn" folders. This will be fixed ASAP. In the mean time, just use the *.tar.bz2 or *.tar.gz full packages. The patch packages seem to be okay.

Issue has been resolved.

Not only do I get a shiny new J! 1.0.12 but I also get an answer without having to post about the access restriocted error I got last night!

It really is christmas! LOL

I have visions of the 1.0.X teams sitting in a room singing "We are Santa's Elves!"

Thanks folks a great unexpected present! (I know everything else I'm getting already! LOL)

I noticed that the download area said that 1.0.12 was the final release in the 1.0.x family.

Is 1.5 that close to being released or was that just a giant typo?

Actually I've noticed a problem with https:// switch over, it is switching back and forth ( http:// < --- > https:// ) randomly as I'm browsing my website. I am looking into finding a solution.

and also the https:// does not stick and browser is keep losing the connection.

Ok here is an update,

Caching feature was on and I was also caching my Menus, So once the site was accessed using https:// all the links within the menus would have been cached, so when I was switching back to http://, menus would load the html from the cached files so the site would have switched back to https://

I have disabled caching for all the menu modules and things are working fine.

basically each time that the http:// < --- > https:// switch happens all the cached menus have to be deleted automatically and the current setup isn't doing that.

or let's say Menu Modules never need to be cached!

Rastin
