Possible to use more than one template?

Hello

Is it possible to use more than one template on a site? I currently have one Mambo installation on my site, and would like to have a particular section to use a different template. Can this be done? Thanks for the reply.

In admin, under the template manager, Site Templates, use the ASSIGN button to select a certain template for certain pages. :)

HI,

I know this is an old thread but can you do this in Joomla 1.5 ?
I cannot find the Assign button in joomla 1.5.

re: v1.6.3 i went to template manager and assigned "home" to an alternate template. It didn't work. What more do I have to do? Does it not work on the Home Page? I want only the home page to use the alternate template.
