It's an interesting article and it's very good for Joomla's reputation to be mentioned and even recommended in it.

It is interesting, and i think def. adds to joomla!'s reputation.

Keep it up.

At first, I wasn't sure if i would go joomla! or mambo, but that wasn't a very hard choice--you guys are putting out some rocking code already! i look forward to future implementations!

The article is excellent

It is a wake up call for those who still consider open source solutions as 'unsecure' or 'immature'

The fact that joomla is mentioned in the same breath as mysql and jboss is telling

Way to go Joomla! team - I found his point interesting in general about Open Source and the perception that you are better supported by buying commercial software, but in reality you have less say as a customer in commercial software then you might as a member of a Open Source community.

The truth be told you could always hire some talented programmers and modify the Open Source at a pace that is only constrained by the size of your pocketbook, can't do that in the commercial software world unless you are willing to pay big money to purchase a source license.

Yet another bullet point in your sales presentation promoting Joomla! to your corporate customer base.

This is indeed one of the most important advantages of OS. If a client has a request for a site that isn't yet possible I can hire a freelance programmer and get the job done in no time. With closed source software you can only sent a feature request to the manufacturer and hope it will be in next years release.

Awesome, I'm going to pick up a copy the next time I'm at Barnes and Noble.
