Hi guys and gals,

I have committed an intermediate commit of the component configuration/ menu parameters rework that is being done as we approach end-game on beta 2.  This is a change that had to take place before beta 2 as it will impact the way third party developers build extensions.

The greater hope is that by doing it the way we are we clear up a lot of misconceptions and create an easier more fluid interface for end users.

As for UI naming conventions and semantics... those are up for grabs and we will pursue naming/language cleanup in the B2 <-> RC phase with the user documentation team.

As i get further to completion I will be posting notes in the 1.5 dev forum about the ideas/concepts behind what I am doing.

[NOTE] the beez template will be broken till the end of the rework because I am not going to chase down template override changes until I have the base logic done.

May I suggest you add a warning in the changelog to avoid useless reports?
