Query re: possible path mistake in COM installation

joomla_root/administrator/components/com_installer/components/yourcomponentname

In my installation it is only component ie: joomla_root/administrator/components/com_installer/component/mycomponentname

However I am having a problem with the installer page as no info or file selector is showing for any menu item under Installers
