Having followed the activity of the team in svn and tracker closely for so long now, I know that tremendous work has been done. All of you sacrifice so much time and give freely what others would only do for money. Thank you for your idealism and for showing us the way how to truly live the idea of open source.

Kudos to all of you!

Bernhard

Happy Birthday!!!!

And congratulations with this new RC  :) Thanks for all the hard work.

By the way, I noticed something strange: after removing the mosconfig-option and replacing it by the so much better in-text-imagehandler, you left the image-column in the database without a proper job (or better: proper food).
I think that's a pity because I see a future with lots of glamour for this column. It could be used as an 'associated-image' column, which means (for example) developers can call it in the frontpage as a teaserimage without calling the whole content-body, or as an 'outside of the content-table' image in the content-view.

Well, maybe this is a usefull suggestion on this shining (birth)day (however not overhere in Holland, where it's pouring with rain)

Good news and welcome on board for the newcomers!

Only one question: who speaks Swahili?  :pop

I'll remedy my post, the question is who the guy/gal that is clever in Swahili and so we can use swahili words? Just for curiosity :)

I'm the Swahili culprit, however it was only with the use of an online English-Swahili dictionary. :)

As with Mapya (RC1) it seemed appropriate to use a Swahili word given the origins of the name Joomla!

Cheers
Shayne

Hey I just have a quick question as I don't remember the answer...

RC2 is the last thing before a final release right? So if I wanna install RC2 on a little personal site it shouldn't be mnuch of a problem right?

And can I convert from an older version to 1.5RC2 easily?
