After Upgrading from 1.01 to 1.02 and using IE I now get this error:
Could not find the template function: TinyMCE_advanced_getEditorTemplate

Anyone else seen this?

Did some more testing with this and when you refresh the page it will load the missing function of this script.
I don't have cache mode on but did see the cache settings appear and dissappear from the menu in admin.
This only started happening after an in place upgrade.

Is it safe to use the full install to overwrite all files in the same manner you do upgrades? I have only used the patch distributions so far.

After I copied the full release up (excluding the installation folder of course) this TinyMCE issue went away.
At this point I don't think I will waste time patching a setup with only the changed files when a full release upload seems to be the better option. Not like I am working from a 56k modem. :)

There is definite something amiss with the TinyMCE in this release.
I am also seeing issues with the javascripts that control parts of the Joomla! admin interface (action nav bar items like save, cancel etc) don't work on certain loads of a page when the TinyMCE is present.
It almost acts like a javascript is not fully downloaded or there is an error in a script causing others to blow up.
Still trying to nail it down.

We have fix javascript problems with TinyMCE in 1.0.2, and everything should be working at the moment. If not please report the exact problem.

I think I have isolated the issue.
I use Avant Browser http://www.avantbrowser.com (IE tab clone) and it looks to have an issue with some of the javascript for some unknown reason.

When I use IE standalone it looks to be OK.
I will test Firefox some more as I thought I recall seeing it affect that browser too.

Edit: Avant Forums confirm issues with Javascript with newest release.  :'(
Edit 2: Firefox 1.04 had issue - 1.07 looks to have fixed the issue.  ;D
