Hello Devs,

Since the changes to the SEF engine (introduction of JRouter), the search component doesn't work anymore (at least with me).

And... Another question more in general: How do I call a component that is not in the menu (so that does not have an Itemid?)

Maybe the SEF / JRouter / Itemid refactoring isn't completely finished yet. In that case I haven't said this.

Regards,
Mark

Fixed in SVN.

Maybe you have a menuitem pointing to com_search? Then it would be logic that it works, because there is a Itemid related to com_search in that case.

In my setup it doesn't still work like Johan described. Good work up till now Johan, I'm curious about your solution for this issue.

Worked on this again a bit. Works correct now for me. Closing this again.
