Thanks Alex,

I have read it and given my opinions and advices to Tor Otto, who will be in charge - and I hope you two already has a dialog.

But I'm going to prepare the Joomla!Day Norway site soon, and I would like to have access to the Joomla!Day logo (template?) etc. - could someone please help me with these things?

Joomladay.org and it's tollbox (mention in the charter) don't seem to be available yet, but maybe Tor Otto has got something without forwarding it?  :-\

Hi Tor,

the only mail/application I got was the one from you. Should I have received a second one?

We are currently checking our schedules. There are many events around this date. Some core members are in Berlin due to the LinuxTag others have very little time. But I'm on that.

Alex

Hi Alex

(There is no second, I just wondered about the first one)

We fully understand that your schedules are packed, my concern was about what to tell the norwegians about our J!D.

Best regards

The Norwegian J!Day team has the pleasure of official launching the website for Joomla!Day Norway,
the only drawback though is that we still are missing some information like t.ex a program. This because we're still waiting for some feedback from some contributors, but we hope also this will be ready in "good time" before the day.

Feel free to visit us at http://www.joomladay.no/ - it's also available in English for our foreign friends, thanks to Alex excellent J!Fish component.  8)

I'm thinking to come as well  :)

Any suggestion for a good hotel? I found First Amassadeur. But it would be funnier to choose the same as you guys.

Cool  8)

I think Tor Otto will give us some info about local hotels soon, I know it's on the to do list to sort out this.

@Lorenzo - maybe we should consider a Nordic J!Day sometime in the future, maybe next year - that would be awesome I think. At least it's something to think about for us all.  :)

Wilco & Robin are both booked in Rica Park Hotel, Drammen, with reference "Foreningen Joomla"
http://www.rica.no/index.cfm?oa=hotel.display&con=700
They still have a few rooms available from Friday to Sunday, and some more for Saturday - Sunday.

For me as well  :)

I have now booked the hotel, the train tickets and the JoomlaDay ticket. FYI, I'lll arrive to the hotel around 7.30pm on Friday.

.. and yes, Joomla! get bigger and bigger for each day. During the nearest time we have to look how we should arrange our days here in Sweden, I think our members wants and expect that something should be arranged and after that , who knows if we couldn't arrange a bigger mutual nordic event and in this way maybe attract more exhibitors, speakers and visitors.

I'm seeing forward to meet all of you!  :)

Here´s an update of the program in PDF.
Btw: There are seats for more people, and still available rooms at the hotels, so it´s safe to invite more Joomla! friends from Sweden (or anywhere else) to th event. Write me at styreleder@joomlainorge.no for additional info.

Welcome to Norway!

No we don't mind Lorenzo,
actually I think we also should invite our Danish and Finnish friends (and other who likes to travel).

All is welcome to join the event, as long as there's available places - and if needed it's maybe possible to find some extra chairs.  :D
