Alrighty!  >:( I have just spent the last two days trying to move my sites over to Media Temple because they offer an interesting bargain on multi-site hosting.  Time will tell, but right now I couldn't pass it up.


I am going to try to save other people the trouble I've just been through and give a tutorial.  If anyone finds something I've missed, please let me know and I'll update the tutorial.  It was my first try at using Putty so I am sure there are shortcuts I don't know.

p.s. This tutorial assumes that you have secure shell access.  This tutorial may not work with all hosts.
