Help re access to joomla site administrator panel

Postby villatropical » Thu Apr 05, 2007 6:17 pm

Hi everyone,

I am a newbie and created a site in a subdirectory of my site - http://www.mydomain.com/subdirectory - then I moved it to the main directory - http://www.mydomain.com . The site is up and running without a problem. I can access the administrator panel however when I log in I get the following error:

Warning: main(/home/users/web/b2247/pow.villaescape/htdocs/administrator/components/com_admin/admin.admin.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/web06/b2247/pow.villaescape/htdocs/administrator/index2.php on line 62

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/users/web/b2247/pow.villaescape/htdocs/administrator/components/com_admin/admin.admin.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php-4.4.4/lib/php') in /hermes/web06/b2247/pow.villaescape/htdocs/administrator/index2.php on line 62

I've checked my configuration.php file and all the changes were made hence the site working but just don't know what the problem is re above.

It might be that in moving  your site you corrupted a file, something saved only partially, that sort of thing.

You might try the Joomla Tools Suite: http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/

which includes Joomla Diagnostics... that's a tool that checks your file structure to see if there are missing or corrupt files.

Hi tydust,

Thank you for the help. I re-uploaded a couple of folders and my index2.php and now I can access my site's administrator panel.

Have a great day.
