"Standard Article Layout" menu item:

The popup used to "Select the Article" shows a list with all articles (including "archived" and "unpublished").

  • If you select an archived article you will get a Error 404 when accessing to the menu item at front-end.
  • If you select an unpublished article you will be able to access to the article (despite that be unpublished).

So, i would suggest:

  1) include in the list only the articles actually published
  or
  2) show more details of the article status

Fixed on SVN, only published articles are shown.
