I was going to wait until Monday to release this, but as we now have a new home for Joomla 1.5 tempalte stuff I thought I 'd make the first post :)

I had uploaded the template here earlier but to save on J.org bandwidth I've added remository to my blog site and uploaded it there instead. It's free to download all I ask is that you register download :)

Hi folks,

I recieved a PM today from MMMedia requesting that the template download file be added to the Joomla.org forum. I apologise to anyone who thought that my placing the file on my own site was rather self-promotional. That wasn't my intention, the reason I'm asking people to register to download from my site is so that I can keep those people updated with information regarding the template - tutorials and documentation etc.

I've once more added the file to this post so that people can download it directly from Joomla.org if they don't want to sign up to my blog :)

There are no docs yet but keep an eye on my blog because plan to add some tutorials and docs over the coming weeks.

There was a bug in the template_config.php file which was causing errors in some circumstances - this has now been fixed

Adding this information from this post so there is a description of the template:

I had intended to write up documentation to go with this basic template and publish the whole lot on my blog site http://s.imp.ly/joomla but when the Joomla project asked for volunteers to help write the new Joomla 1.5 template documentation I instead offered my services to Chris and the team.

I intend to offer the blank template for download to anyone who wants it. I've offered it to the project and my offer has been warmly received, once the volunteers have been finalised and the template documentation project kicks off in earnest then I'm sure we'll all be able to build the best template documentation there is for any CMS on the market.
