Evening all,

Just found this software, looks great, but I'm a bit new so apologies if I'm not over clear :)

I have a Joomla site and SMF forum I wish to use with it. I realise there's a bridge, but I'm not really wanting the Joomla site to have logins, it's just basically a quick way to throw up a news/info site. Basically I'd like the SMF forum to work as normal, but with the Joomla Menu above it to allow quick navigation back to the site. I've tried using a Wrapper, but that creates two scrollbars, one for the main page and one for the iFrame, which I noticed you've avoided on this forum.

Can anybody tell me how exactly you manage this? Would the Joomla-SMF bridge cure this without leaving a login system on Joomla?

Thanks to anyone who bothers replying, I'm entirely baffled :)

the bridge does not work with 1.0.13

What we do here is have separate installs for each of the menu items you see. (and separate logins for forum, extensions, ect.)

Main is its own Joomla! install.
News is its own Joomla! install (i think)
Help is its own Joomla! install.
Forum is a stand-alone SMF install (No Joomla! here at all)
etc.

hope that helps. we have just customized our templates so they seem to be seemless.

hope that answers your question.
good luck!
