Hi guys,

Time to get this baby cranked.  ;D  Spread the word and get those votes in.

And if you're feeling really generous.  Use the power of your forum signature to link to the voting page.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to vote for J!

If you wish to open that discussion with Myself or Amy, you may do so. The comment was not removed because it was about Drupal. It was removed because it served no purpose as it was off-topic and was poking at Amy's Loyalty to this project. Amy is one of the most loyal people in the Joomla! Community and possibly even the Drupal Community. There is no reason why someone can not support two Open Source Initiatives. I think it's great actually.

Joomla! has nothing against Drupal and as far as I know Drupal has nothing against Joomla!. In fact, I think it is great that they have bounced ideas off each other in the past. That is the beauty of it.

Once again, the comment was removed for being off-topic and bordering a personal attack. So, now you know it has nothing to do with mentioning Drupal.

Drupal, Drupal, Drupal. There you go, eight times in just this post. :)

I really do mean it when I asked if you wanted to open a discussion about this. PM me if you wish.

[Any posts pertaining to this issue will be deleted. Please PM me directly.]

i sure would have voted for joomla but for the timing of 1.0.13 patch release. our site has been down for last few days thanks to this patch. still on the joomla site there is no official announcement about remedy for the downsides of this patch.

hoping to see some quick reactions from core team on this ...

It would be wonderful if we win again :)

P.S. In the german PHPMagazin there are few very good reviews of Joomla 1.5 from Alex Kempkens

Are there any banners that we can use to advertise for Joomla on the contest?

You can use the banner that's on Joomla's homepage.

Good idea!  :)
